- Reliably work alone and do more complex tasks - Help teach others. |
Pre-requisites:
- Previous rank for 20 operations |
Qualifications:
- Respective Crew Leader (CL) courses - Role specific type rating. |
Summary:
- Supervise, lead and teach a crew of first responders - Incident Controller (IC) at a level 1 (local) incident. |
Pre-requisites:
- Previous rank for 30 operations - 10 of which as a SECLDR (Sector Leader) - 10 of which as as a level 1 IC |
Qualifications:
- GL course - Type rating - ICS (Incident Control Systems) |
Summary:
- Lead multiple crews of first responders - Incident Controller at a level 2 (regional) incident |
Pre-requisites:
- Previous rank for 50 operations - 10 of which as a DIVCOM (Division Commander) - 20 of which as level 2 IC - Remaining can be either as an operations advisor for lower ranks or an expertise in a emergency operations or management field |
Qqualifications:
- Strategic course - Type rating |
Summary:
- IC at a level 3 (global and/or highly complex) incident - Advisor to executives Note: there may only be a maximum of 1 per continent excluding Antartica (6 in total). |

- Role specific training - Executive type rating |
Summary:
- Help improve IFR in role specific areas including Personnel and Facilities, Comms, Operations + Training and Assessing Note: executive positions are purely administrative. If operationally required, each member must meet rank RPL/Pre-reqs. |
